I’m Mostapha. I buy and sell names from Morocco. I have paid another year on names I would not bid on tomorrow. That is not investing. That is a subscription to leftovers. The Domain Value Checker is the first filter. How we score. The calendar for keepers is another page: renew the ones that matter, early. This page is the other door: dropping on purpose.
Renew only if you would buy it today
Paste the name. Read weaknesses first. If the report is a hyphen, stuffing, or an ending nobody pays retail for, you are not “holding through the dip.” You are buying the same leftover at the renewal price. Before you buy still applies when the invoice is from your own registrar.
A keeper is a name you can explain in one sentence to a buyer: short, sayable, trusted TLD, clean past. Then pay ahead so a card does not kill it. Lock and mailbox: security 101. A leftover does not get auto-renew. Auto-renew is how books die quietly: why they fail.
zenpay.com I would renew without a story. best-ai-tools-online.com I would let die. Three pastes: live valuations. Wholesale vs a fantasy retail: two rooms.
What “drop” actually is
You switch auto-renew off. You let the date pass. Grace and redemption are not a second chance to romanticize the name. ICANN’s gTLD lifecycle is the boring map: expiration, grace, redemption, pending delete, then someone else may catch it. Redemption often costs more than the original leftover was worth. Do not “save” a hyphen in redemption to feel like a portfolio manager.
Who still holds it this week: ICANN Lookup. History if you are tempted because it is “aged”: snapshots. Age is not a coupon: letters, not age. Neighbors, if you think the market wants it: NameBio: how to read a comp.
The yearly list
- Export every name and expiry.
- Checker. Leftover → drop. No lander, no “one more year.”
- Keeper with no inquiries and no comps → one lander, one ask: the window. Still no buyer by the invoice → drop or cheap-sell. Hope is not a third option.
- Keeper you would hate to lose → renew early, lock, unique mail.
Marks still: UDRP. A colliding leftover is not a hold. It is a complaint you renew annually. When the box was kind: believe history anyway.

Decision
If you would not buy it at the renewal price, do not pay the renewal price. Dropping is a skill. Collecting is a hobby. Keep the Google row.
