This URL is the twin of the history guide, dressed as “avoid bad backlink profiles.” Keep it. History is a snapshot and a story; you can explain the working version of how to check a domain’s history. A backlink crawl is a company’s opinion of who linked. Wikipedia’s link farm page is the honest name for a lot of those graphs. The Wayback Machine (and archive.today) still beat a CSV of referring domains.
I’m Mostapha. I buy and sell names from Morocco. I have cleaned a “toxic profile” on a leftover and called it due diligence. The letters were still leftover. Checker first, as if links were zero. FAQ. DR is not a price: that argument. Inherited links are not a second appraisal: that one.
Order of operations
- Letters. Fail the checker → do not buy a graph.
- Snapshots. Casino, pills, doorway, hack. Then the graph is a warning, not a project. Drops: expired valuation. Treasures: usually someone else’s problems.
- Marks. WIPO UDRP.
- Then, if you still care, glance at links. Spamhaus if the host looks nasty: domain check.
Do not 301 a farm onto a cleaner name “to keep the good links”: don’t bring the junk URLs. Disavow files do not travel at escrow. A buyer of the name is not buying your Search Console theatre.

If you already own the name
A ugly graph is disclose-or-drop, not a six-week link detox to raise retail. Price from the string: a range, not a guarantee. If the past is the product you were sold, a new site does not launder it: that page. Buying: checker before you bid.
Decision
History is what loaded on the name. Backlinks are a sidecar. If you need the sidecar to like the name, you do not like the name. Keep the Google row. The old bait was a cleaner graph. The valuation job is a cleaner string.
